Patrique Fiedler gave an invited talk entitled “The multipin electrode: An adaptive electrode concept for dry electroencephalography” at the Universitätsklinikum Freiburg on January 11th 2017. About 30 scientists were present and subsequently discussed about potential applications of dry electrodes. The talk was followed by live demonstrations and test measurements with interested participants. The background of the participants ranged from medical physicists, engineers, material scientists to physicians with interests in biomagnetic signal acquisition and analysis.
