This activity took place on Wednesday, July 16th, 2014 and it was carried out in the framework of the “International Summer School SPITSE“ organized by the Ilmenau University of Technology, the Electrotechnical University St. Petersburg “LETI”, and the National Research University Moscow Power Engineering Institute. The invited lectures (90 min) provided information on fundamentals of electrode technologies, aims of current and future research as well as ANDREA project results. The lecture also included demonstrations of different electrode concepts and technologies, highlighting the distinct requirements, advantages and fields of application for all conventional and prototype electrodes. The audience of the lecture included advanced Master students and PhD students (approx. 20) from different Universities.
