During his secondment at partner TUIL, Lars Matthäus was joined by Frank Zanow, also from partner EEM. The main focus of this conjoint secondment was to perform an extensive research on state-of-the-art concepts as well as scientific publications on recent electrode preamplification electronics, with the final goal to set up a list of electronics requirements as well as a list of electrochemical characteristics of the dry electrode coating materials. First concepts for possible preamplification designs were also discussed, as well as several adduction mechanisms concepts. A concept database for all dry electrode system components was set up.
